Reginold has that "intellectual snob" with an MTV-level class feel him ... like Comic Book Guy meets Robin Leach (Lifestyles of the rich and famous). He's hilarious, playing on the celebrities who just set themselves up for humiliation.
That bat co-host was awful. This new one is ok, but doesn't make a big difference. Have a new co-host each week if you like. As for direction, the same style, repeated each week with someone new will work just fine. Just be sure to avoid the temptation to go with a political figure - the idea that they're "real people responsible for important decisions" as opposed to just stupid celebs would change the feel of the episode. When you're political, you have to take a side, and you'll lose fans one way or another.
As for episode length this was a bit too long, and the first was a bit too short - #2 was just right. Good luck with the stupid-celebrity research.
