Heh, despite the fact that I like his music, I definitely see any and all celebrity publicity stunts or "drama" as being inherently stupid, and 100% open for ridicule...Good flash Mr. Walrus.

Point One: if someone becomes a celebrity, then they automatically become a target, it's unavoidable.
Point Two: As a celebrity, their very livelihood hinges completely on getting people to notice them and pay attention to them (for good or for bad). Therefore, many celebrities are willing to resort to crude and "moronic" publicity stunts to attract more media attention, this is no exception.

Conclusion: Is he a good musician? I guess. Is he a good celebrity? Certainly, so long as he gets anyone to talk about him, which in this case he has. So just kick back, relax, and enjoy the fu**ing flash... /-)
