Reviews for "Mega Man X2 | Zero's Theme v3"

High energy and rockin' MegaMan music.

Really nice cover and good work, very nice to rock out on.

My only problem is that you blast through the initial strings of the song so fast they sound garbled as opposed to the awesome riffs that they are. Probably that's due to the high speed of the rest of the song but the part just gets lost as noise.

Aside from that, the rest is great.

First off, thanks for the review man. Critique is always welcome. I can see your points for this song here, though I have to say...it'll always be a matter of taste. This tune is a "blast" indeed. We're not talking about some pussy game music here. It's the very first battle between two heroes and in my opinion at least, it needs to be a blast. Just listen to it a couple of times and the first impression of noisyness will fade because you can hear pretty much everything what's going on.

Anyways, thanks for checking and thanks for the review! :)

Really Good

Power Metal-ish. You sure got some talent. However I wish to point out that the rythm guitar totally took all the attention, it's volume was way too high, which covered and killed the melody and lead guitar. But overall this is really good.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Not really "way" too high but a bit, I do agree there. However the leads are pretty much noticeable.

Thanks for the review! :)

hmm

thx!

Mighty...

...though a bit too loud for my taste. This song starts of with a blast and moves on in that direction till it's end. I am not a fan of Megaman, but I can easily imagine this theme in a game like that - it meets it's purpose, and that is too bump up the adrenaline I believe. However, this is not something I'd like to listen to more than once, could be just me, but I find little variety and it just seems to go on and on, making it more suitable as a game music than a song on it's own.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Uhhm...ever thought of turning the volume down? That should help. All I can say is, read the description. It's all mentioned there why this song is what it is.

Thanks for checking it out though, even the fact that you're not really into this. Oh and btw...ambient varies less than metal, infact...it hardly varies much. You might consider this next time writing a review for a metal song or a song in general, just to let you know about that. ;)

Its pretty rocking.

But its also very loud and some of the guitars take away from some of the other things going on and thats not a good thing. I see where you were going with this and you accomplished that to an extent. This DOES sound good don't get me wrong. Its just a little loud is all. Thats really my ONLY complaint. So great work and keep it coming!

DarKsidE555 responds:

Very loud? Why don't you just turn the volume down? I guess that should solve your problem...Anyways, it's a mix after all. All the guitars aren't meant to shine equally. There has to be difference. I really don't see a problem with the volume, sry. Might be just a problem with my ears, who knows? ;P

Anyways, thanks for checking!
