Reviews for "US vs RIAA"

I'm sure you meant well...

Who would have thought that music was being sold for a profit (!?)... but then look at any other product you buy in America. With few exceptions, 70% is the average markup from raw material and labor cost to actual shelf price. Does that give you the right to steal canned food? Crappy plastic action figures? Processed meat-like jerky treats?

Of course, I could really care less if people download Limp Bizkit and Slipknot songs off of kazaa... the sooner they go broke and disappear, the better. But, let's not get pretentious, eh? Stealin' is stealin'.

even so

you stole that song....

you not going to get anywhere

The RIAA is not going to bow to the signatures of a bunch of teenagers, the flash movie itself was ok, but a few spelling errors, and some of the information is incorrect. And so what if they are suing a 12 year old, if he killed someone would they let him go, no he would go to juvenille detention, the law applies to all.
Im glad i don't live in the states, under the yoke of the RIAA, thats why i didn't rate this movie highly.

Okay then

Excuse me for asking a question that i should probably know that answer to.
But what is the US? (Just kidding)
No seriously what is the RIAA

Hi

Those four million users that are on.. that's just users who are on at the time. Most people usually only go onto KaZaA to download a handful of songs, and then they leave. So it's actually quite a few people going through there, and they're not just Americans. I agree that the twelve year-old girl getting sued was stupid though.

But petitions won't do shite. If you want to protest their actions, I suggest you change your flash to encourage NG users to gather together and trash the RIAA headquarters. Nothing works better than militant protesting. Better yet, just stop buying music altogether so that the RIAA goes out of business...

Anyhow, I haven't been buying music since the late nineties because the musics being put out now just plain stink. Well, there is some good stuff, but unless they stop charging one-tenth of my paycheck, I'll keep listening to what I've already got.
