5 hours?
5 hours is not a lot. I'm a graphic designer and a single 500x500 pixel piece will take over 200 hours. I'm working on a flash in my spare time and so far I've had several illustrations in it. Another rule might be: If it takes less than 100 hours to make, don't submit. But it's true, don't take comments like "Go kill yourself" to heart; just submit work you'd expect from the best on NG. If everyone thought this way, we wouldn't have thousands of crap that exists on NG right now.
