Very relaxing!
Kind of reminds me of secret of mana for the old snes in the beginning. Nice intro and good transition to the main part itself. The song is simple but that's not a bad point. Drums fit well and got a really good reverbed tone. While there is not going on "too" much in the song itself, it still was entertaining the hole time.

Could be a video/animation...
Knobs are twisted. Alien fingers push sliders, buttons, quietly working to launch their spacecraft. Suddenly it launches - an inaudible cry of celebration and the flying saucer glides past asteroids, small planets and bizarre creatures that dwell in the vacuum of space.
The spacecraft glides down to a foreign planet at 2:10 - earth! People from nearby hear the commotion and one by one to inspect the machine, then an alien pops out... and begins dancing. Through the language of dance and pantomine, the alien explains that they need red things. Or some other object, I'm not sure. People agree to help the alien and bring buckets of paint. Whilst dancing. Then at the end the alien shoots off again.
Or maybe the alien does a little puppet show before flying off again. I'm not sure what he was doing on Earth. It became a little hazy at that point to be honest.
Anyways, awesome tune. The start's a little slow, but when it gets going, the melody and slower bg instruments work brilliantly.
As for criticisms, I can only suggest some bells or something when the tune picks up for the 2nd time? Just an idea. No real crit.

Actually, upon listening to it for the 2nd time, I think the alien might be playing with the people. I shall muse on this. Would you mind if the animation that may or may not materialise makes no real sense?

Sounds like a B movie
The way it gets going sounds like the start of Beverly Hills Cop - the budget version, starring some actors that no-one has ever heard of. Not that I'm knocking it, because that movie didn't really have many well known actors and it made Eddie Murphy :P
Very mid-80s, in the way that you've played the keyboards and piano, it all comes together very nicely and I can imagine things like either the start of BHC or maybe flying close to the surface of the water, across a calm lake or sea.
The ending was too drawn out and maybe you could have considered adding a pause for the keyboard / strings, to give a small drum solo - keeps the listener on their toes and gives them something to say 'Ah, the artist is still committed here'
