Well...Congrats

Wow, I've never seen the staff intervene in a blamming before. (I didn't even know they COULD!) Anyway, here's my review: If I had seen this while it was under judgement, I would have given you a 0 all the way...BUT, now that everything is explained (...and exposed, would be a better way to say this...) I realize that this deserves at least a 2 or 3. I can still understand why people give this a vote and review of 0, I mean the length of this is...what, maybe 1.5 seconds? The humor...oh the humor... Well I can see why some people call this childish and immature, but...I must admit that my ass's status is officially laughed off. The sounds were a good "add-on" (even though I didn't see this without them), they were cartoon-like and added to the humor of it all. I can't help but wonder about your original intentions, though...was this supposed to be just another "blam point?" I remember a week or two ago, a file NAMED blam point passed and brough home the golden turd. NG artists are being discouraged by the voters blindly blamming anything that comes through the portal (although, that's recently been dealt with) and the artists submit submit little flashes with little or no content whatsoever. Maybe if this were to happen more often, the artists could move on to better projects... Well, anyway, I think I'm running out of space in this review, so I'll cut it here. Congrats on your award (albeit the legendary turd), even though that this flash's score has been brought up to an average score due to the staff insight. Signin' out for today.

well ive learned on newgrounds that it is mostly a hive for very young viewers, with the exception of the few, such as myself. although i may not have room to say that. even tho I get some pretty hateful reviews on some of my "serious" flashes i dont let them get to me. actually sometimes its fun retailiating those reviews and slinging it back in theyre face like a handful of warm fece's. i continue pressing on with my serious work in hopesd of being a real animator. with my alternate NG account still being unnamed ( this ones my step bro's). i appreciate your honesty and insight on my 1.5 sec long flash. even tho i spent more time writing the review then watching the flash itself. :P. i hope this turd of the week will put all the others to shame tho i think it may have already accomplished that. :)). neways TY for the positive support

While perhaps i'm short sighted...

I still think that this is just silly. I understand the message behind the staff that protected this, however, newgrounds and the portal in general have evolved beyond a point of which material like this is consitered the attractions of newgrounds. I still remember the young days of newgrounds, when assassin was born, and that epic day that the portal was first created. I can see the innocent childish humor in this, and of course, don't compare it terms of domestic violence like some other reviewers, i just don't feel that we've lost sight of newgrounds at all. The site has simply evolved to a point of where we've moved beyond things like this.

this flash isnt supposed to represent evolution in newgrounds taste and espectancy, altho i understand what u mean. this flash is meant to give ppl a quick laugh without having to wait a long time. makes it very convenient in a way. im sure most ppl laughed even longer then they took the time to watch this. i know i did. sometimes sticking to the basics can be the most rewarding. that meaning, even tho this got terd of the week i am getting many reviews saying that they really enjoyed this. that is rewarding enough to me that so many ppl enjoyed my short, joke, of a creation. This one is one of the rare few that can really make someone laugh. i think the reason ppl tried to blam this one to the graveyard is because i think we all lost a sense of whats funny and whats not. ive noticed that a lot of people on here are hard-core hardassed people. oh well. I give this 5-outa5! for a little adivcie. make it interactive! LOL !that would be priceless

srry to break it to ya but im too lazy to make it interactive. neways iv come to realize that most of the hardcore, aka ( nose in theyre own ass ppl) are always the ones that vote on a submission when it is very fresh in the portal. they see that its less then 5 seconds long and think they have an easy blam point on your hands. HATE to break it to them but the blampoint just went up theyre ass. ( pardon my crude typing :P). Thx for ur positive words

Save the Endangered Turd

Newgrounds being built on short entries is a valid point. Newgrounds -continuing- to build on short, long, medium length... whatever kind of entries, so long as they're good.

This? This is just my kindergarten 'circles with smaller circles locked within them' doodles slapped together into a slideshow and some better colors, basically. I couldn't laugh at this vapid lump of crap unless there was a gun at the back of my head. And even then it'd only be funny if there was a circus clown or cancer 'victim' holding the gun.

Lost sight of the content you want us to protect? Maybe so, but what about the content we want to see?

thats funny. i never thought this would compare to kindergarden doodles with circles drawn in circles. maybe your taste in art is bland. maybe my taste of art is bland. but all in all that was pretty harsh. Ive never had my drawings compared that way. especially when u give me a 4 in graphics. whats the proper word for that- oh ya exageration. dont insult ne other artist that way again plz. unless ur comparison is legit. us serious artists take pride in our work. srry my flash didnt even make u smile.

Well..

It was ok but... its just someone punching boobs, thats relly not that interesting. Anyone who gives this more than a 7 is easaly amused
