Reviews for "[SD] FF6 - A Girl Named Terra"

Lovely and Elegant

I will have to say, when repetitive beats are being used, I tend to be rather irritated, which means I do not have a liking for many song, but I have to say that it is worked exceptionally smoothly into this piece, and it has been amplified several times from its natural beauty.

Now, I may be biased, considering out of all of my final fantasy songs Terra is my favorite (none other has compared so far) I love this piece that so much. Now, because I am a harsh grader, and that there are some parts that are not the absolute best in my expectation, I will have to give this a grade of 9/10, but I will give it a 5/5 because of its wonderfulness.

Normally I would have cried during a play of Terra, but oddly I didn't, so that may have played a role to my grading. In any case, it is still grand.

Thanks a lot, Calculus!

FF6...such a masterpiece. Kinda like this.

This is really good. I mean really, really good. I voted 5/5 because of the song choice and what you did with it. I did have one concern, though: the melody didn't really stand out. It was hard to hear it over the background stuff. Don't get me wrong, everything was still amazing. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the review! :)

Nice

You did a very good job.

Good

Actually makes me wanna cry a little you know? Hey! Maybe you could next do the boss battle from FF III/VI, that was a really good one! Just as a suggestion, you don't have to make it, just thought it would be cool.

Fond memories of magitek

Its a solid remake of a classic FF song. I gotta give props to you for remixing it well, though I can't give a 10/10 to a remix, just because the original genius is Nobuo Uematsu's.

All in all, if you can do a remix this good, I encourage you to work on an original piece. Yeah, its a lot harder, but if you can pull it off with the same excellent sound as this remix, it'll be a 10/10 guaranteed.

Good work, mate.

Thanks exp-99! Check out Mystery in Space if you feel like listening to some ambient, that's my latest original composition, though it's completely different from this. :P
