Simply and honestly...
I don't want to seem unappreciative or to come out overly skeptical or critical in saying so, but I really feel that you could work a little on your lyrics. Your voice is amazing, however something about the lyrics makes quite a few of your songs sound as if they were originally written for another language and translated into english. I'm not sure If i'm saying this right but many choices of your words kind of jar with the overall flow of the song and prevent me from fully enjoying the song as a whole.
I suppose it does carry a nice 3rd wall effect in that it stops the listener from simply listening to a piece of music and to focus more on what is being said.. Though i'm sure there could be a better way to achieve this.
There are times in this song where I think it would work nicely if you didn't pause as much between lines, in a stop and go fashion. Perhaps you should think a little about smoothing out one or two songs into longer smoother sentances. It could be interesting.
Anyhow all that aside, your work is very much appreciated. I'm going to have to go listen to more of it right now.
