This movie is one of the best I've seen in the portal. This should be on the 50 best cuz I love movies with Meaning. Also I couldn't think of a better song to use for this video. I hope to see more movies from you.
Extremely Insightful!
This is a good flash movie, but I must negate anyone who claims it's not about LSD. The term "Microdot" refers to an LSD blotter, and the fruit is a small square, similar to a blotter.
I interpreted this as a "once you get the message, hang up the phone" idea. There's nothing wrong with trying drugs, especially psychedelics, but it's when you continuously use them that you begin to see problems.

who said it was lsd? could have been marajuana, something else like that. could have been symbolic. ah, maybe they updated it. this was great, even though the flash itself wasnt good, the...you know...the movie was.

We dont live in a movie and this is very unclear..
.. ok im well aware that drugs are addictive and that they do harm people but why LSD? LSD is in no way physically addictive and is impossible to overdose on. Go look this up on the american medical associations website or in a hazardous materials/ occupations guide. LSD can not kill someone. If you chose methamphetamine or cocaine i might have had a little sympathy for your poorly drawn movie. You also fail to realize that most dealers (well over ninety percent) are users themselves and have no intention of hurting the people they sell to. Im assuming you had some friend that overdosed or did something stupid on drugs and that inspired you to make this movie so i understand why you feel this way. But please for the love of whoever the hell you worship educate yourself first or think your movie through more. Ive done LSD hundreds of times and i still function everyday as a normal human being and i know of people twenty years older than me who still do LSD and who have no health effects whatsoever. LSD can harm you psychologically but these changes are often minor or harmless except in a select group of susceptible individuals. Have a nice day and try again.

I realise that LSD is non-addictive and that in most cases short-term use does not lead to side effects. I also realise that in the past LSD was used to treat alcoholism and compulsive behaviour with some success. However the use of hallucinations in Microdot is purely to add a more visual element to the effect of the drugs in an otherwise simplistic animation. This flash film is based on drugs and not on any drug in particular. It is not meant to be taken literally, but rather symbolises the downside of drugs and in some cases the unscrupulous people who take advantage of others. In my experience dealers often are users who sell to pay for their own drugs. And this is expressed in that “Big Red” permanently has the psuedo 3d effect caused by the shape plant.
