This only took you 2 days?
I can tell there was a lot of work put into this movie. Although some of the scenes might be VERY disturbing to certain people, to me, this was, simply put, a well-done movie that explores the world of psychological illnesses.
Graphics: You did this in one of my all-time favorite styles for a serious movie: entirely black and white, except for the blood. It accentuates the violent nature of Mr. Patownski in a way that no other style of color can. The actual graphics of the movie are very well done - the violent parts are strikingly realistic, and Mr. Patownski himself is also well drawn. The only thing I can criticize is that most of the animation seems kind of simplistic, although it really doesn't matter much in this variety of movie. 9/10.
Sound: I think the film needed a bit more background music - at the gun part, for example, you need something... say... a bit chilling? And the music that plays during the title screen and ending message is a bit too horror-esque for a movie about a mental illness. The sound effects were good, and the music that plays during the actual movie is also fitting, but some of the music is just a bit over-the-top for something this serious. 6/10.
Interactivity: Again, only a play and replay button. Can't really rate this movie on interactivity. 0/10.
Style: The style of this movie is very intriguing to me. First, Mr. Patownski's external appearance is very normal. I mean, if you saw him on the street, you just wouldn't know what horrific images plagued his mind. This merely adds to the theme of the movie. After this, a sudden change: The banal city scene switches to some very graphic images - in fact, some of the things real-life insane people think about. Then Mr. Patownski just kind of loses it. This is a powerful movie in more ways than one. I liked how everything flowed in this movie; it was in short, sudden jerks, true to the mind of the insane. Excellent job capturing the style. 9/10.
Violence: This is one of the most violent movies I have ever seen - not just for the blood, but for the way the images are presented - they are very, very twisted. Although I was not the least bit revolted, there are a LOT of violent and disruptive images in this movie. 10/10!
Humor: None intended whatsoever. The thing is, the mentally sick might find this movie amusing in much the same way Mr. Patownski did. 0/10.
Overall: A very, very powerful work. If you did this in only 2 days, I cannot imagine what you can do in 2 weeks, or 2 months. Of course, the only thing I could wish that were added was a little background explaning what drove Mr. Patownski to his insanity. Still, a powerful work, and I liked it (Not like THAT, but the way it was presented). 8/10.
Miscellaneous: You are a powerful author. I notice the themes of your movies tend to be that of mental illnesses and the worlds of those affected with them - one of my favorite themes. And oh yes, regarding my username, I'm more "Beat a video game with my feet" insane, NOT "Tie someone to a pole and chop off their arms" insane. Just a disclaimer.
Final Verdict: I'll just warn you: that Excessive Violence warning is not to be taken lightly. I do not recommend this for the faint of heart (Or anyone seriously offended by violence). If you aren't, then I highly recommnd this movie. It is a brilliantly done view of the fragility of the human mind and the actions and anguish caused by it. Nice work. You have become of of my favorite authors.
