Nice! One little problem.
It doesn't sound like something that goes on a stage select screen anymore though (unless it's like doom or something like that). Of course, the song still kicks ass, and that's all I care about. Awesome job.

Nice Revision
This is what the Stage Select should've sounded like. I LOVED the Stage Select from the 1st one, but when I heard the 2nd one the first time, I was so disappointed. This cover is a good modern revisioning of it though. I enjoyed this very much Darkside =]

Yeah, I was more than disappointed about the X2 music in general...though, it has some gems. They are rare but there are some! Glad you enjoyed my re-arranged version of it! :)
Agreed.
X2 had the worst music, save for the intro stage. You got the X2 style down: the nondescript, unmemorable, unremarkable feel to its music. BUT, everything else you've remixed/covered breathes new life into them.

Also, my hard-drive crapped out on me, so...now I have to go 'n download ALL those Sonic/Megaman audio tracks I had (around 60 maybe, I dunno) again. Not to mention everything else.
