Reviews for "Gary Colman for Governor"

Cute, very very cute.

I live in Calafoina so I know what I'm saying when I say that yes, things are worse then you know, fact of the mater is this, a bumb off the street could do better then Governer Gray Asshole. Yes, he's praticaly hated by pretty much everyone here.

He drove this state into the ground, anyway, I am voting for Arnold, he'd be a way better Governer then Asshole would any day of the week, I might add if he wasn't I'd have a tought time going for eather Gallegher or Colmen. But that's IF Arnold wasn't running.

I think of only one other that took this state like Arnold is going to and hopefully make it right. And that is Ronald Regan, the most loved Prestdient, heck I grew up with him as president. So Don't go saying Arnold will make a bad Governer, at this point we can't get any worse, can we?

Voxton responds:

Yeah well, it'll be interesting to see how this circus turns out, that's fer sure. Thanks.

Fairly good - and pretty funny.

Heh, I was waiting for someone to cash in on the messed-up California elections. This one did so fairly well.

Graphics: Mostly pictoral. The hand-drawn guy in the beginning was pretty good, though. And the way the faces morphed... 6/10.

Music: The voice acting was funny - although I don't think Arnold talks in German-sounding gibberish. I still liked the voice acting, though. Although you should have had one of those "Whasutalkingbout?" clips in there. It IS Gary Coleman. 7/10.

Interactivity: Load, Push button, play, push another button, replay. Sound familiar? (No offense) 0/10.

Style: For a satirical attack on politics (very easy in today's society) - this had some good style to it. 7/10.

Violence: None. 0/10.

Humor: I always liked political humor, and this one didn't disappoint me. Very funny. The best part where the Grey Davis picture that has the "I have about THIS much credibility left" caption. Heh. 8/10.

Overall: Above average. It is funny - thus it gets an above average score. 6/10.

Miscellaneous: Pointless facts (That have nothing to do with the review): There are almost 200 people running for governor of California. Arnold, Gary... but my favorite is Gallegher [sic?] - you know, that guy who hits watermelons with a big hammer? Ya.

Final Verdict: At only 300KB, this movie is well worth watching. A nice spoof of what's going on in our world.

Voxton responds:

That's a pretty thurough review, that! I do try to keep my files as small as possible. And I draw my own artwork, but it's most often far too time-consuming to rely solely on it. Interactivity -- I don't personally understand how a movie should be judged on that, any more than a DVD movie should. It's a movie, not a game. Oh well. I'm wondering about doing at least one more on Coleman's Gubernatorial run, so I was saving the "Wutcha talkin' 'bout, Willis?" Well, thanks!

lol, funny to hear

for a german. Especially this sausage at the beginning.

Voxton responds:

Thanks -- yeah, someone translated my dialogue into German, and I read it, but assume it wasn't exactly authentic, heheh. I'm not sure how much of it is understandable to German speakers though, but basically, it starts off by asking if you like brackwurst and sauerkraut, and if so, vote for Arnold, and we'll be wearing lederhosen by Christmas (and I also threw in a random "Lebensraum" cos that is just an easily recognizable and slightly shocking word, really).

gary says:

bling bling! (i knew a kid at school who had a gary coleman t-shirt and it said bling bling in fancy letters) ... (it was funny) ... (what i didnt think was funny was how lame postal 2 and gary's part in it turned out to be) ...

Voxton responds:

Um, ok...

Arnold rules! i love republicans!

Voxton responds:

Cool, thanks.
