In my opinion it was an all around good game.
I really liked this game. My main problems were: it was short, no music. I would recommend it to anyone. Make it longer and add music. Then it can be on the top 20.

Good start, mostly needs play balancing
Not bad at all - the idea is good, and seems to be put together in a good package. However, the controls don't work well at all - the attack key actually seems to lock up just at the moment when the opponent lowers his guard, and he doesn't give enough clues about his intent to strike to make the shield worth having.
needs a bit more
more blood, a sort of clue as to when tha other guy is gonna attack, more sound, maybe higher framerate. otherwise, great game.
It was good
It was good, but after a while I could time the attacks easily. just block (he attacks) hit him twice, then block and repeat. It was good though, i really enjoyed it. You should try to update it with new gladiatiors, that would make it awesome. Please try to fix the timed atacks though.
