I'm a big fan of Glenn's music. (Frog for non-gamers) I've listened to almost every one of the remixes on newgrounds and I gotta say that you take the competition. Was the piano actually played or computer generated? In either case excellent job. Think you could pull off the village theme like this?

I never bothered calling him Glenn, I always forgot to name him Glenn every time I started a new game; and then I would remember right after hitting enter for his name being "Frog."
The piano was generated with samples, but I can play it on my keyboard as well. It's just much simpler on FL for now.
I'm working a little bit on the 600 A.D. theme every now and then, if that's what you're referring to. It is also all piano currently, but I may add some bird effects if I can find them and some strings. :)

ok.. well i like the frog too, but...
good job so far on using Fl Studio, because that's what i use. it's quite an eloquent program, and a major breakthrough from FLP2 and 3, that's for sure...
i just have a question, "why 5 paragraphs for the Author's Comments and not once do you actually give credit to the original source?" i mean, c'mon... you didn't even say it was from chronotrigger until somebody asked you two comments down. thats beat to me.
as good as this may be, i feel in my heart that i could only ever give it (or the work of anyone else that is a video game music cover) a 3 or 3.5 out of 5 because it's not really your song.
the fact that you go into all this detail about how hard you worked on this project and how you don't want people to vote it down for no reason and how you were just tinkering while "trying to write" an original piece (which i find hilariously delicious) and blah blah blah blah... you forgot to mention that this song comes from ChronoTrigger and boy is that a fun game to play!
that would've been nice, is all i'm saying, at the beginning of the listening experience, rather than at the end after i've read yourwhole life story.

I'm a hardcore gamer, I kind of forgot that not everyone has played the games I consider the greatest of all time.
Hence why I didn't mention the original source to Chrono Trigger, but many songs submitted to the VG section are like this as well with no mention of the original source. The reason they are submitted to the Video Game Music section is because, obviously, they are usually from a video game or have that video game feel, most likely the former.
I never mentioned that this was an original piece or that I thought up the idea myself. It should have been obvious it was a remix.
