Bit-Master responds:

It all started when I was a wee lad. I used to play in the yard for hours on end, oh the fun and imagination that went on in that little patch of land. I loved it. But unfortunately that outdoors fun sharply declined when I was kidnapped and taken westward to the state of Texas. The man who stole me carried the smell of what I later learned was cocaine and cheap whiskey and had a big beard and some sorta welt on his nose. It was gross. Somehow I managed to escape out an air vent in the shack he kept me in and I found myself in what seemed like an endless desert. Obviously it wasn't, because it's just the state of Texas, but there was no one to be seen. It was two days since I had anything to drink, and I, being a small child, was in about as much trouble as I had presumed.

I fumbled to the ground, willing myself to slowly crawl onward through the sweltering heat. I learned about mirages, as I saw a fake oasis, a real oasis, and a scorpion the size of a cargo train. The scorpion was actually only a couple inches, and I was simply lying in the sand (dying). It turned to me, stepped towards me for only a moment (the longest moment of my life), and scuttled away. A jeep had driven up and two sprightly, friendly fellows woke me from my near-eternal slumber and gave me some water. From there they drove me to the nearest town and a call went home and eventually things went back to normal.

But, I will not forget the terror of that scorpion. It wasn't simply fear of the unknown, as was the impression the smelly, hairy kidnapper gave me, but a fear of death itself. I had the feeling that everything was soon to end. Death is not mysterious, I discovered. I realized at that moment how absolute death is, that there is no negotiation, there are no exceptions or rules, it simply takes life into its clutches and leaves behind a rotting corpse in which one soul resides.

So, as I read about this contest, I thought back to everything I had experienced and every lesson I had learned until now. I said to myself, "That scorpion looked as big as a whale!" So then I drew a scorpion as big as a whale. That was also a whale.

omg

don't fuck with the scorpion-whale!!!!
