Funny stuff, but it ends so AbrUpTLy-->!!
LOL, how do you forget a warning like "this sandwich will kill you" after only a few hours? Mike seems to me like a complete dunce.
The storytelling style was über-w00ten, but like mute_man so eloquently put it before me, the story led up to an anticlimatic ending. It seemed like you had a great idea for this goofy farce, and then, halfway through, couldn't figure out how it should end--and believe me, this was not how.
Something zanier should have happened to Mike. Or, at least, some angry villagers should have chased the sandwich with pitchforks and torches, causing it to jump into the river and drown. Then, Mike could have chuckled in relief, "I see the old man really wasn't lying about the sandwich being possessed by an evil curse! I'm so glad I'm safe..." And then, dramatically into the camera: "...THIS time..."
And then there should have been a close up on a plate with a sandwich on it, as a bolt of lightning struck in the background.
There are a LOT of ways this movie could have ended... though the Beetlejuice music was a nice touch.
