The raw energy of Hydra in a rage comes across very well- the surrounding sea, land and sky seem to fear all the more the strength of this monster. The coloration of Hydra and the the storm in the sky is very good, but perhaps could be jsut a bit darker.

This is amazing but the I thought the hydra only starts out with nine heads?
this painting is fantastic on many levels, but i feel that even though this should have been a multi-level painting almost seeming 3d because of all the heads. i feel that this painting was cut short to about 2 levels because of the jump from a perfectly visable head to a completely blackened heads in the background even though the light source is behind them in the clouds
