Addictive concept, flawed execution
I've enjoyed playing this a few times, but I've become frustrated with it, not because of the skill needed to advance past level 5 or so, but because the CONTROLS are so INCONSISTENT. First of all, the bombs don't drop from the center of the craft, so that's visually deceptive. Second, if you wail away on the spacebar, the game will happily make the laser sound, though no bomb falls... and if you press the space bar a hair too early, there's some delay before it'll recognize another press. Third (and this has happened quite often), I'll drop a bomb, fly over a couple of towers, and just as the first bomb goes off, I fire a second one... except that no bomb drops, but _multiple_ stages of the first tower explode and collapse. Huh? Retroactive bombs? Why does it not just drop a bomb where I told it to? Surely you've noticed these inconsistencies during your testing. They mar what is otherwise an addictive little diversion. (Oh, and the fact that some bombs can slip between the towers patently sucks as well... do this _once_ during the higher levels, and your game is effectively over because of the time lost. I don't see how that aspect enhances the gameplay at all.)
