Graphically, it's one of the best Flash games. Ever. Seriously.
The music and sounds were good, that goes vor the voice acting too.
Interactivity, can't complain with that... Lot of options and buttons to press! Wohoo!
Style: It's not like space shooters haven't been done before, but the only thing that matches this one would be R-Type for the Gameboy... It ran real smooth on low quality.
Violence: Not much to add here, no blood, some explosions
Humor: Hmm... No humor that I can see
Overall: Great game, a tad hard, otherwise brilliant.
Decent game, but a few flaws
This is a very good shooter - I just have a few minor problems. The ship is too unresponsive - it takes too long to fire and aim your weapons, and the manoeuverability is poor. It's also not the easiest of games to get the hang of - the controls aren't natural but I couldn't see an easier way to set them up. It might have been better if you had an "aim up/down" rather than rotating option, whereby the weapon aims at an angle 45 degrees different to normal, like Super Metroid on the SNES for example. If those gripes are ignored, it's a great shooter - it looks and sounds brilliant and there's lots of different weapons to play with and enemies to kill. If only the game was more intuitive, it would be an all-time classic.
Good but...
The only thing i had a real problem with is that even at the lowest settings, the ship moves too slow and the weapons pivot to slowly also.
