yeah the upper path is the hardest (indicated by red line)
but you can't follow it straight I think...
I think at some point you have to either branch off to the huge battle that you have alot of allies in with the huge suacer.
or the planet that is alot like the sun.

I have never been in that level so i dont remember it.. for some reason i could not do the upper path wich i think is the harder path.

I Downloaded your last version of this and thought that one was good. This one is great. Star fox 64 definately has an awesome(and ignored) soundtrack. In my opinion the boss music for the spacey levels is my favorite. If you get the chance see if you can find the midi :)
