There were differences - firstly and the smallest difference was the loadscreen, I made more animation, and I did it percentage-based instead of time-based for the animation switches... i.e. it's better for people with Broadband. Plus, the programming was fixed in many sections, i.e. less frequent battles, exp. is proportional to other stats, etc. But mainly, it was a touch of irony, because if you know the FF series, (which I don't completely - so correct me POLITELY If I'm wrong) - there are 2 virtually identical copies of Final Fantasy, I think it was 2 and 3. There were very minor bug fixes, but nothing else. Hope that cleared it up, and thanks for you not saying "same fuckin' thing, blam dizz shit"! Cheers!

So you should like it, as I enjoy playing it even today, and I spent months making it! Just kidding - but yeah, i'm glad I managed to convince you that there can be good types of these games! Though I would by no means say this is a glistening gem in a sea of stones...if it rocks your wagon, how can I argue wiht that? Thanks for the fair review!

try using better animation. If you did, it would be a game worthy of a 10.

Could of had so much more potential
Ok, at first I was ok with the game, but seeing a really horribly drawn mans legs seem to disconnect from their sockets to attack started to scare me. There was another gamee just like this that I played once, so I dont think this is a new idea.
If you could take the time to draw better graphics, have better quality sound (although I have that remix, and it does kick some serious ass), change that in my mind, horrible level up system (Leveling up with exp. is my fav way, or even sphere levels from FFX), and I would give this game an A and a well deserved 10.

Even the start of your review was flawed... "it could have had so much more potential...". That means that if I improved it, the POTENTIAL would increase??? meaning it would be the same movie if I improved it. Don't you mean - "this has potential?" Or "this could have been so much better?" Either way... why do you moan about the Level Up system?? Every FF has a different level up system, I was being unique. And to have this in a FLash movie, when I'm obviously not PRO design material... it's "pretty muthafuckin' impressive"... So please, don't waste time... just drown your sorrows away, post-haste

the only difference between this and final fantasy barry 1 is the preloader has more animation in it. this is teh resubmit.
