Good for a first...
The things that could have been improved were the long periods of time between action scenes, the background and the goals, but the humor was the highlight of it all. All in all, I say you've got a lot of potential! Keep it up! I'd get really pissed too if my loyal Dog was hit with a pair of dirty underpants!
