This game does have good points but it needs work
Alright. This is a good start for a game but it's multiple flaws make it unplayable. Well, first of all you call it GTA and it looks similar to GTA and kindof plays similar to GTA but when it comes down to it all that's similar is that you can a) drive cars b)shoot and run over people c)get missions d)you could get money. Kindof pretty flimsy similarity. The appeal of GTA was really to steal your favorite car(I think) and I rarely ever saw cars at all and you can't steal them the rare times you do see them. You have to buy a car. I know more cars would make it slower but why is it so slow as it is? I think about how I would make a game like this and it just doesn't seem like it should be nearly as slow as it is. Next, you need animation when your character moves. Kindof boring to just see him moving across the screen without any change. I also think it would be a good idea to allow your character to punch. Not like in GTA 2 where when you punched the person they just fell over but rather if you hit them enough they'd die (like beating people in GTA3 and Vice City). Another flaw was that the action was far away and it took a very long time to get from place to place. Most of the time was spent walking or driving around and not doing anything interesting. Plus, when I got a mission it would be something like deliver this package to the hotel to the southwest. I have no clue where the hotel is besides that it's to the southwest! I don't want to drive around for 15 minutes looking for the hotel. Another thing, when you run someone over who has a gun, I expected to be able to pick up their gun but this wasn't the case. I had to buy one...argh. I do think you did a good job and worked hard on this game but it's just not fun as it is. I know this is largely due to speed issues but if you can't put more action into the game then it probably wasn't worth it.
