Reviews for "A Tribute to Gundam F-91"

Not to my taste...

Maybe somebody else might think it's better but I think it's about average...

HaroFreak responds:

(Not really a good method of replying to this but...)

Wait, there is no good way to reply to this...

Very good effort. However....

..... why would you want to re-make something that's already been perfected from it's OVA form? I'm a big fan of the entire Gundam Universe, especially the pre Gundam Wing Era, but I feel that your time would be better spent working on an ORIGINAL Gundam Storyline/Flash as opposed to re-making something that's already flawless. You have some talent. I just dislike seeing talented animators produce un-original material. Overall, this Flash was nicely animated and it gave me the reminiscent feeling of watching the old F91 OAV, just to a much smaller scale. Now if you can only make some original animation with Gundam, that would be something to behold.

HaroFreak responds:

I believe you have NOT read it properly. It is a Tribute. All tributes are not-original because they are NOT supposed to be.

I honour "Gundam F-91", that is my reason for making this Flash Movie.

Judge by what it is as a stand-alone, not by comparing it to the work of a hundred experts (Theft is an exception when rating something, of course).

that was.....different

hey, not sure what this is, cuz i haven't seen the movie, but i am big gundam fan nonetheless. anyways wasn't too impressed with this flash, but i guess i'd have to see Gundam F-91 to understand what those grey MS were, they certainly didn't look like zakus or whatever. anyways perhaps if u added other sound effects other than the song it would have been more interesting. peace out

HaroFreak responds:

The "Grey Mobile Suits" were use by the "Crossbone Vanguard" army in the movie F-91 during the U.C. 0123 time era. Since it has been many years since the disbanding of Neo Zeon, the mobile suit technology has changed.
Perosnally, I think those new MS resemble the German NBC warfare troops from World War 1, whereas the Zaku series had armour designs similar to Roman armour.

Anyways...
You're not very observant aren't you?
The music and the synchronisation of the show is what made the animation what it is.

Watch more Gundam from the U.C. timeline, it's for the better.
