Reviews for "MERCY!!!: Episode 1"

WOW

A very good movie. Good graphics, style and sound. And this is only your second flash, you really got some talent. Hope you make more flash. Keep up the good work!

Shut up, Bill!

Oooooooooooooooooh, I like, I like. The opening to this is very cool. You do a great job of laying down the foundation for characters in this episode. I'm not familiar with Nameless and his sister, not to mention his dark master. Too many a time has it been when there have been good flash movies like this, but lay no path for character development. In contrast, I'm now wondering what kind of dark spell Nameless recieved, what sinister plot does his master hold for him, who's the only one who's beaten nameless, and....who's Bill? (I loved that part, ha ha ha). Excellent visuals and great choice of music, this could turn out to be a really great series. I strongly hope that you'll continue work on it; excellent job.

MushiX responds:

You ask a lot of good questions... ALL of which will be answered by the end of the series. You will understand who and what every character is, what's going on in the shadows, and why Nameless is what he is. When planning the story, I left no stone unturned, no secret unanswered. Episode 1 is just a peek at a fairly complex story... complex because it takes place in 9 short episodes, and still has a story that fully-develops itself.

Well done

Good job guys! I liked the style of the animation and it has an interesting story. Keep them coming!! :)

Great stuff..

Pretty sweet job you did on this..really enjoyed it..

Heh.

Episode 1: The prequel to the review.

Okay. Just to let you know, I am VERY harsh when it comes to my reviews. My "9" is about the equivalent to anyone else "5000".

Episode 2: The Review

Number A (Don't criticize me for that, I meant to): Very good on the battle scene. One small thing I have to say that I didn't like about it was the constant use for energy weaponry and/or attacks. I like to see enemies use physical dexterity and strength to take down their opponent, especially when their strength is almost matched, so they must rely on combat skills and anti-attack skills to counter or block an opponents attack. Another thing you may want to add to the battle scene is a more fight-like music (I know, I know, decompressing sound files sucks miserably)... That music was more for a cinematic display of one opponent completely overpowering the other with sheer power. Yeah. The power... that overpowers the other power... using power. Yeah, yeah.

Letter 2: I may be running out of space.

Number 3: For the humor, add more. I liked the part with... [Bill]: "Hey, Nameless! I saw your match on --" [Nameless]: "Shut up, Bill" [Bill]: "Okay". I would like it if the announcer had less screen time so one could get more plot details but still have the voice in the background (If needed).

Good work Tsurara. I look forward to future episodes. And if I give any other stuff you have BAD reviews, don't come all over me complaining about how I don't have any portal submissions. Duh. I help friends on their websites (LiquidGeneration, XGen, PenguinBros). Anyhow, keep up the good work, two thumbs up to you.
