only complaint is that it looks a bit like a frost giant, or a jotunn (if that's the right term) from Norse mythology, instead of a giant underwater beast. Maybe adding some tentacles will do the trick? Still, this is got to be one of my favorites so far on NG.

Everyone seems to be saying that a Leviathan should look like this, thought it was that, but this is art people. The amazing thing about art is that you can add your own perceptions and visuals to anything and call it whatever you like. Art is just a way to express how you view things in your own way. He sees a Leviathan as this, and it looks great! I can't express how great the shading on the water is. As someone said below me, your attention to detail in water scenery is superb. For your first attempt to fantasy work, I say a solid B as a lettered score, about a 8 for the star rating. Overall, don't stop working on the fantasy art, you did great on this one and I'm sure you'll do great on another.

I'm no art critic, so I'm just going to say what this does for me, personally.
First off, the design is good. Not what I'd expect a Leviathan to look like, but what you designed looks very natural. Also, I really like that bits that white-out. You can really feel the gravity of the situation with it.
I gotta say though, and I'm not totally sure why, but this piece reminds me A LOT of Zone of the Enders. In art style not in content.

Wow pretty awesome but wait...
Isn't it that a Leviathan is a beast-like creature? Or a large whale perhaps? About your art, the coloring and shading is very superb indeed and you seem to have a great thing on water scenery.

i think this was a cool drawing and it has its cool colors and effects but, this looks more like an ice titan or something i thought leviathan was just a monster and not many, and that leviathan was a fish demon i think.
