Reviews for "Defend Your Castle (Full)"

Growing up with games like this is the reason I disdain mobile games. If people could make things magnitudes better back in 2003, where do you get off trying to charge people heaps of microtransactions? I can always come back to Newgrounds just like the bar from "Cheers."

I remember playing this game ages ago. It's still a fun and simple game to play for about 15 minutes or so. I bet it would do well as a mobile game too!

So, I get the impression the buildings are supposed to do something? After saving up for an archery tower, there seems to be no way to get archers and I simply can't grab sticks fast enough to deal with later levels. If this isn't the way it's supposed to be and I'm missing something, perhaps it might help to have some sort of resource to tell me what can be done, because so far the archery range only seems to make a flag appear on my castle which I can click on in order to cause... nothing! Game is rated 2 stars because it is technically a game, even if I don't find it particularly fun, but it seems incomplete, which is particularly unacceptable when you point out that this is supposed to be the complete game.

the upkeep system is incredibly dumb. it shouldn't be going back in time to penalize you if you didn't have enough money when you were born to pay your rent in your 30's.

what a stupid idea.

this game is a classic so it gets a decent score. but the way xgen doubled down on that dumb upkeep system rather than listening to the players who are much smarter than the developers and fixing it so the upkeep is calculated at the end of the round (both cost and payment) cuts off a star. the other half star is because in the 15 years since they released it they could have added to it but chose not to. very bad form.

Was playing your classic in memory. RIP

5/5 forever
