CONNECT WIRES.

Originally made for itch.io's INDIE LIFT 2020 and Finally Finish Something 2021. Took a digital logic course at university and took the fun stuff from that class and made it into a video game. If you find wire management and combinational logic fun (for some reason), it's decently fun.

HOW TO PLAY.

Place down wires and components. Use the top tool bar or scroll wheel to change the component you place. Signals come from the inputs, which are circles, and go into outputs, which are hexagons. Signals have to go into the input ports of components (shown by the arrows going inward) and come out of the output ports (shown by the arrows going outward). Some components such as OR and AND need two inputs to produce an output.

Left Click - Place object

Right Click - Delete object

E/Q or Left Clicking on a Component - Rotate component

Space - Start/Stop Circuit

NOTE.

Published an update on 10/15/2021 which adds accessibility settings and the ability to rotate components by clicking on them again, making the game slightly less frustrating. Your data will most likely be wiped because of this update due to how Unity handles data storage unfortunately.

The puzzle system here was very unique and different from what I have seen before, Game entries like this are an interesting kind of game here I do like the visual detail and made for an interesting game had some unique details, The puzzle system does get pretty hard as it progresses but was very fun, Good game design here the visuals are not bad so for me this was a pretty fun game and you gave it your own vibe, A fun and tricky puzzle game here very fun and entertaining

~X~

cant get past level three but its really cool

MASS EDIT

alright I've made it pretty far into the game and my previous comment no longer matters, but I would appreciate it if my medals would actually show up

against all odds I've reached level 28 and although I've got one of them correct it isn't accepting it. joy

this game seems like it could be a lot of fun, unfortunately i cannot figure out how to get past level three, i agree with some of the other comments in that a hint system of some kind would be very helpful.

The puzzle idea of this game is great, the only issue I have is the unclearness of the quantum tunneling effect. And for future people wanting to play this game:

There's a comment on one of the pages, second to last as of posting this, from the dev that says:

"Level 25 introduces the concept of quantum tunneling, that is when you amplify and deamplify in the same spot, instead of having an infinite loop of moving a signal up and down volumes, it teleports the signal three blocks to the specified direction of the deamplify component. The game tries to lead you through this mechanic through the red wires, with you putting a signal into the amplify and showing you the signal teleports across the red barrier. This mechanic makes wire management much more easier and adds some potential for interesting and optimized solutions if mastered correctly. No flip component required!"
