BEN, the squares themselves have a color border you can see when swapping.

Good adventure game as all games from this author. The puzzles are more difficult and very numerous, making this game longer and more challenging then most free point and click adventure games. This game is for hardcore point and click adventuring and puzzle solving / code breaking fans. Casual dabblers in this genre might find this game a bit too hard.

What this game lacks compared to very best point and click adventure games is developed story, characters and dialogues, therefore the score is still but 4 out of 5.

Thanks to the walk through, I didn't know how to translate the clues of five levels of handles. Once I figured out it was related to the anagram, I found the letter quickly and had no problem solving other puzzles. *phew* I like honey, too.

Refreshingly nice escape game given how the quality of these games is in such decline. Having said that I almost gave up at the start. The only clue to the coloured circles and squares puzzle appears to be the (tiny) unzoomed image of the puzzle. I was only able to decipher this by doing a screen shot and zooming the image using graphics software. This, added with the fact that the puzzle is wrong - there are only two dark blue squares but four pink squares - I wonder how many people gave up at this point in the game?

Still, once past that initial puzzle the rest of the game was quite enjoyable.

Personally, I'd steer clear of the tedious puzzles, and anything that requires the eyesight of a hawk - your escapees maybe older than you think. ;-)
