Please say this is an extract from a larger project!
The shop and character menus are of the style found in full rpg games. which make me think it is.
The review
Art: good, i admit to being a fan of the old top down styles found in 16 bit rpgs.
Controls: OK responsive and the option of using the mouse is a nice touch, a listing of them in the tutorial would have been useful.
Tutorial: VERY BAD! A short vid of the game being played with the odd annotation is a poor choice for a tutorial.
Game play: Subpar. Move up to flame and press use and hope luck is on your side as it is random if you succeed in catching the flame, rince and repeat until time runs out.
Interesting note: if you are doing well then get a bonus round all winnings from last round are lost! In favour to the much smaller offering of the bonus round
It may work as a mini game in a larger piece of work, but not as a game in its own right.
