Nice short! I liked the music and this surreal concept of 'brain movies'.
I also liked how the movie coming from the critic himself wasnt enough to please him (although he didn't have his brain on, so who knows, hahah). On the other hand it did made me wish to see a few fragmets of each of those 'mind movies', so we could've known the characters a little better, but I see how the major focus was on the Cinema Owner's struggle to please the audience.

Cool!! The story was simple and (for the most part) made sense, and was very original too. The finer mechanisms of how it all worked didn't really make any sense, though. What exactly did removing the brains of the audience mean? I also don't really get how exactly taking out their brains created a movie, but I suppose this animation isn't supposed to be overanalyzed like that. It's the message and how it got expressed that counts, and you really nailed both points.

This , for me depicted the process of a person seeking to please, getting feedback and finding something. In this case the conte t creator seemed to get fed up and poured his guts out and made everyone get in awe. I recall a time I did an animation that took me 3 days, it was a stupid random thing of a joke I thought and everyone seemed to like it ( tho by todays standards it would be blammed) It was extremely popular and those I spent time on, researched, finetuned and took me weeks werent as welcomed :) sometimes ya gotta go with inspiration and what you feel. it's a crap shoot but when you strike gold its pay day! Thank you for making this wonderful piece. just my subjective thoughts on what I took from it. :D

Not bad. It looks great. I'd have thought that the cinema owner, after having picked the critic's brain, would have realized that critics are just not worth impressing, instead of then having a panic attack before finally being able to turn out something that the critic enjoys.

On the other hand, it does a good job of pointing out that people don't want fluff. That the artist with real world experience will always connect with audiences better than the artist without substance.

I dig it.

Great feedback! Thanks for watching :)

The review box in here is asking to "spill your thoughts", so here goes nothing: you are right.

Having the brain of a critic and having the ability to read it is not necessarily a recipe to success. Every single human expects excitement, something that makes them break their routine and change their thoughts. For a critic, I believe it is much easier to settle in a certain pattern where praise rarely shows up.

That is why pleasant surprises break their routines. This made me remember the movie Ratatouille, depicted in a very succinct way. You know what you are doing.
