This is a brain fart of a concept, that I mange finish for more than a year or so. My friend suggested that I share it on newgrounds so why the hell not. This has been screened at an animation festival here at the Philippines. Its short and fleeting much like the film overall, much like a brain fart like I said, but I hope you'll get to enjoy this passing experience

Original Title: Bangkong Liwasan

A day's passing on a park bench, represented though a string of vignettes.

Reminds me of that Anime (forgot what it was called I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about.) About the two the teacher and the student meet on the bench in the park and talk whenever it rains? I'm seriously drawing a blank but your animation is beautiful the characters flow so naturally. Wish I had the talent to draw great job.

BernieSorbet responds:

You mean The Garden of Words, yeah can't deny that I took some inspiration from that. The music is also a remix of one of the soundtrack, so folks familiar with the movie might see the similarities from that

I'm a sucker for one-shot films. Lovely work, very much like the different character switching and it all flows very nicely with the music. Nice work!

Beautiful! Crystal clean illustrations and immaculate animation. I love how you synced it with the music rhythm.
Don't mind if I ask which software did you use and how many fps are there?

BernieSorbet responds:

I'm glad you liked it. I mainly use an old version of toonboom studio for the animation and the rest are adobe cs6 (photoshop, after effects, premiere). As for the fps, I usually work in 3s on all character animation so they're all just in 8 fps, but for the background and all the post effects, they're all animated and composited on after effects so its working on full 24 frames per second.
I hope that answered your question.
