Last animation for Animation jam!
Started this project 3 days before the deadline, I'm surprised by how much I got done.
I made the backgrounds with 3D models from LeoCad, rendered in 3DS Max. The lanterns are photo's. Then I cleaned up the backgrounds in photoshop.
The character is made with greenscreened stop-motion, improved in Animate CC, I also used this to give him a face.
The hand is just some simple greenscreened videos.
Then everything is edited in HitFilm (which is some awesome piece of software as I discovered). Sounds from freesound.org edited in Audacity and synced up in Animate CC.
