Just a quick cash in on the football craze that is Euro 16.
Hi Newgrounds,
As a follow up to our Multiplayer Pixel Cricket game from 2011, we've been working on a new 8-bit free kick soccer game to go with the Euro Championships.
You can play single player against the clock, or play against other real players in the Multiplayer mode of the game. (Play as a guest if you don't want to register.)
Use the cursor keys to control the strikers and curl the ball around the wall and into the top corner. Then, take control of the goally and try and tip your opponent's curling efforts around the post.
It's only just been launched, so please test the multiplayer side of the game, and let me know how it works for you! We think it's great fun..

Nice game, I like the style, however there seem to be a couple issues. I had cleared a stage w/ 1 second left, it said it was adding time but glitched and never got added and I had unlimited time to continue as the goal keeper so I couldn't 'lose'. Also had trouble jumping high to the left, all the rest seemed to work just fine.
I played the single player. It was fine. The art is quite good given the style. The movement is perfectly reminiscent of the old 8-bit games too, which is both good and bad. It's too short to be truly engaging, but too long to compulsively replay it. Still, was fun. Enjoyed it.
quite a good game the mechanics are a bit wanky but i enjoyed it
its a pretty good balanced game. 4/5
