Monochromatic has never worked out in games, unless you are trying to make something specially like a Nintendo GameBoy game. I can see what you were trying with the shadow effect, but it did not come across well. Making shift a key just feels wanky. Your controls could really use a remap feature.

This game is primarily multiplayer. the SOLO mode it was made quick as a controls tutorial and to get used to the controls.
Keyboard controls:
A = Block
S = Jump / Accept
D = Attack
SHIFT = Dash
SPACE = Shift color
ARROWS = move/aim
ESC = Back
Enter = Accept / pause

The game and animation is amazing but when I try to change colors on controller it won't work. Is there anyway I can change that? nvm I just found out it was the pause button and not RT

I could mistake this for a real indie game! This game is fantastic, However, the controls are abysmal. If they fix the controls then this game could get a glowing 5 star review. Great work dude (or girl)
