I took an after effects animation course over the last few months. This is the outcome. I think I now love after effects.

Really well done! I can't believe you did this after one course! The pacing was perfect, and though short, it told a mini story. The artwork is amazing. I'd like to see a little more movement in some of the elements (head of the cart driver bobbing with the bumps in the road, etc) but I understand there was probably a time crunch. All in all, really well done. I can't wait to see more!
The atmosphere in this animation is quite unsettling, and I can see why. The last few seconds of it showed what I had least expected. It was a fairly short but interesting build-up to that ending, and I like how the monotone colours reflected that well along with the crow sounds. The presence of the crow should have given off the sign of death.
