Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This is another old video. First made in March for my English Class in 2015. It was uploaded in March 24th 2015 on Youtube. And I thought it was a good sprite video to start off with for the year. And this is also the first video sprite animation that I have ever uploaded.

This poem was made by an Australian Poetist named Geoff Goodfellow, I have actually seen him in person explaining more about his poems, and I was intrigued by them. And in English, we were told to make a presentation of one poem in however form they wanted it. And I chose to revisit sprite animation for this video.

I had watched a lot of Psycosis91 music videos. Like A New Place and Pacific. But my intention was not to make it like his videos. But to make it close to the actual Pokemon game. On Gameboy. Even though most of the material was from Pokemon Gold, which was in color, I greyscaled the entire video to make it look like from the Original Gameboy. Even though it had piano music in the background. As well as sprites from Super Mario World and Pokemon Emerald.

The reason I am uploading this in 2016, is because I wanted to start the year off with something in Newgrounds. And I always had a dream of coming back here to Newgrounds and doing the things I love to do again. So I will say, even though Deviantart and Youtube is now my bread and butter. I won't let that pass. And I will try and get Newgrounds to live on in my view. And sprite videos may be dying at this point. But with the revival of SMBZ, this just shot inspiration up like a bucket full of sweets and candy from Santa Claus. I hope you enjoy this video.
