You should make the character jump on mouse release, because if I press the mouse button for too long, it refuses to jump and it's annoying.

The player has to tap/click on the screen to jump the character.If the player fails to land on top span than he dies.

thanks for your response.The idea was to support both touch and desktop devices.On evey tap/mouse click,the player will jump.
