Here's the wallpaper if you want it to be on your desktop. http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/noisysundae/noisysundae-wallpaper-good-night
ㅤㅤIt actually suits well with Youtube annotations if you want to see it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx3xGknZmmI

ㅤㅤUnique visualizers are the one I made for specific "sundae" (aka "my music") aside from my usual visualizer template. This is an example of what the normal ones look like (Not uploading those here since it's not really a new animation.) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr7hmHuEk90

ㅤㅤAll of this was started from a PSD in Photoshop. Then, moved on to Adobe After Effects CS6 and animated it. Took me around 40 hours to render this due to the bokeh. It's painful that you can't use your own laptop for 2 days because of it. :(

ㅤㅤAnyway, happy holidays, everyone! And if you're interested, feel free to check out my stuff in the audio portal. Thanks very much. (NG supports 60FPS mp4 too, Wooo!)

I love how, at first, it's the house the one wich blinks. Then, the house stops (the family goes to sleep or something), and the moon and stars start blinking as if they were answering to the sounds from the house. It's so calm, I really like it =)

That's the story of it. I think of it like someone has wound up a music box and go to sleep. :)

i don't know how to make a visualizers, but this is great i think
at some part the element not blinking at all, maybe add more element that affected by different parameter, so the blink will be separated and not just focused on one element on the visualizer.
keep up the good work :D

Noisysundae responds:

Nah. It's not only the lights from the house. The second half has the stars and the moon blinking too. (It might be barely noticeable, though.)

In After Effects, the parameter I can play with is 'audio amplitudes'. Since this one is solo instrumental, there are not many ways to play with this piece. :(
If you're curious what have I played with, here is one of them. (behold the nerd stuff.)

I really liked the idea and wish NG's had more visualizers like this for the audio submissions

Fantastic job!

Do you want to wait 2 days for your computer to render this kind of videos like I did?
(Jk. Just this one. My normal visualizer took me roughly only 1.5 hour per minute. :P)
Actually, I made the visualizers primarily for something to watch in Youtube. My original idea is "I don't want a still picture with audio". The normal visualizer seems to be too repetitive to be in this portal so I intend to upload only unique visualizers.

Great visualizer as always. I love the winter theme.

The only thing is that I wish there had been a bit more going on - I wanted something a bit more dynamic (for example, your normal ones have the sundae move around on screen as well as the straws having little EQ bands). Maybe have wind blow the snowflakes around based on the music?

Noisysundae responds:

Hey, this one does move too but with much slower rate because I did the stronger one and there was an avalanche. :O
Actually, I didn't think about the wind. Additionally, I've never seen a single real snowfall in my life. It was a bit sad and I used a lot of references to do this. :P
