MineSweeper Basic needs no description. Graphics are basic, and the colors could be better. It needs all the features of the classic game, plus you should add some of your own.

I have the same opinion as the others about neccessary improvements.
One more issue to add though:

Unfortunately I have had it happen several times that I hit an empty space and directly next to the empty space was a mine.
When you hit an empty space which means "0" and therefore "no mines in the surrounding spaces" then there must NOT be any mine in the surrounding spaces.

Thanks for your response!!

I am aware of the other recommendations!
I was not aware of the empty space issue, thanks for bringing that to my attention!
I am remaking the game over to deal with some issues!
Thanks again!

You did a nice job so far so keep at it, but it still needs work.
1) first hit on a new board should NOT end up in hitting a mine EVER
2) HITTING an empty box (0 mines nearby) should autoclear nearby boxes, if another bot is hit this way it should trigger the same way
3) sounds
4) add some new twist to the game that exists since windows 3.1 (yes i am that old PC user ;) ) [or earlier?]

1: I'm not sure if I agree, because bad luck will play into the game at some risk sections that you can't have enough info to make the next move. In minesweeper, I've had boards nearly complete many time, but just had to take a risk and lost some of the time.
2:Working on this right now actually!
3:Will do soon!
4:I might add something to make the game more appealing, but my main focus atm is just fleshing it out. Such as having difficulty.
Thanks again for the reply!!

- You can hit a mine on the first click, unlike minesweeper
- The "2"s are barely visible, unlike minesweeper
- The minefield is populated way too densely for this to be fun

Conclusion: I think I'll just go play actual minesweeper instead, seeing as how it comes with Windows and all.

The minefield is to populated by default. I'm lowering it, and fixing some other things right now.
I'll be adding a difficult setting later, but until then, I will be changing it to a lower spawn chance.
I would like to say, I remember first click mines, but you aren't the only one saying that so I'll see about changing their spawn to accommodate this.
Thanks for the comment!
I'll make a game worthy of your time someday, you just wait!

not the best clone of the classic minesweepers ...
- dude! The yellow numbers?? really ? There were no other colors left ?
- multiple times dead on the first try. That shouldn't happen.
- empty tiles should uncover every adjacent tile too (especially since i can't differ between them and the 2s)

A good way to train your programming skills, but i'm sure you can do better.

I am working on it right now.
I am aware of many issues with the game, and will be updating as I incorporate fixes, options, and hopefully some entertaining twists!
Thanks again!
