The player should not have to restart from the very first level every time he gets a Game Over. I think it's a pretty terrible flaw in this kind of classic game, because if you do not come up with any kind of innovation, you should at least think every detail thoroughly.

Fun little popper game with good graphics. Only complaint is that it froze up and I had to restart again.

The good things I can say about Orange Bubbles is that it's programmed well, it's easy to learn, and it gradually gets harder as you progress.
On the downside: Song gets repetitive fast - It's a 30 second loop that plays the same notes every 15 seconds. It gets boring after 5 levels because nothing exciting or original happens. Adding a different colour ball to make it harder is too cliche for today's generation of gaming. The game doesn't keep track of your previous high scores either so there's no encouragement of coming back and trying to do better unless player memorized their previous high score. Overall, the fun factor is in the negative for what gamers want today.

I don't really mind these sorts of games honestly. But the fact that it seems like every other pop bubble game, it's not very exciting. At least the idea of collecting oranges is there. And I'm sorry, but the music does get a bit old. Try having a few songs and every other few levels the songs can rotate?
