Before i've even started playing this game, i've got to say.
Bees do not collect "honeydew". or honey for that matter.
They collect pollen.
Onto the actual game.
Why does switching between up and down remove all momentum?

It feels very unnatural and unpredictible.
I can see what you're trying to do here, and it doesn't really work.
The game is polished and clean, but the gameplay isn't very interesting.
