Ghostbusters - Bust In Peace

WARNING - This is not really a game! It's basically an INTERACTIVE ANIMATED COMIC. Every now and then you'll get to choose the next panel, making a decision that will slightly alter the evolving of the plot.
PREPARE FOR A LOT OF READING

------------

I've always been a great fan of the Ghostbusters franchise.
Maybe because both the movies and the animated series were such a big part of my childood that I still remeber them fondly.

I was also very excited at the idea of a thid movie coming up, and I literally jumped for joy when I found out that, since a few years ago, IDW has been publishing an ongoing comic book series about our most favourite men in grey (and a great one at that, written by Erik Burnham with pencils by Dan Schoening - I strongly suggest you to try it out, it's even on Comixology!).

... Then, as most of you might know, Harold Ramis, the actor impersonating Egon Spengler - and co-writer of the movies - passed out. May he rest in peace.

And that's when I decided to make this comic. The idea just popped to my mind and refused to go away.
You won't find much drama or angst in here, though: I want this to be a (modest) tribute to Ramis' talent for comedy.

It required some work - especially 'cause I had to custom edit most of the sprites I used, since I can't really draw - but here's the first chapter of three.

Hope you'll like it, the next one will be online in about two months!

Thank you for your time, please forgive my bragging and... enjoy.

P.S. In the canonical timeline, this story would be settled between the second movie and the most recent videogame.

Great read but you should take a higher resolution for the characters if possible.

Muja responds:

Hmmm, I don't think that's possible since those are sprites and all... I'll try...

By the way, the second episode of this series is already online on newgrounds, go look for it if you liked the first one! :)

A good "Choose your own story" comic.
Is there some chance to see the sequels? :)

Muja responds:

More than some chance, actually: episode 2 and 3 will come out together in a single submission... As soon as I'm done working on them! :P
