Inspired by the classic puzzle of a similar name, "Towers of Saigon" develops a unique puzzle mechanic, and later adds new gameplay elements (such as teleporters and block-changing pads) for even-more mind-bending puzzles.

There are 48 levels in total. Press Z to undo or R to restart the level if you get stuck.

Made with PuzzleScript.

The level after the change panel is introduced cannot be completed. Stepping on the "circles" does nothing at all. Great game though.

ThetaG responds:

You need to have one of each type of ring on three of the purple circles, and then you stand on the fourth circle to enable the "changing."

What the hell, there's no game here. I've pressed every key on the keyboard and clicked everywhere on the screen. The only thing that does anything is clicking "" at the bottom and that puts "Welcome to the Theta Games Home Page" on the screen - no, not navigating to a new webpage via firefox, I'm still on the towers of saigon newgrounds page, this is still within the game window! And then the only thing is "puzzlescript" and then it tells me "PuzzleScript is an open-source HTML5 puzzle game engine. " and prompts me to make a game or do the first steps to making a game. STILL within the original game window. I try again to reload the whole page and once again I'm at the thing which only responds to going right back to the thing which now is looking like an integrated development environment. I have a suspicion that's not what I'm supposed to do. But it's the only thing that does ANYthing.

ThetaG responds:

Sorry you couldn't get the game to start - I just tested, and it worked for me. After clicking in the frame to give it focus, you can press X, Space, or Enter to start the game.

“unique puzzle mechanic“ don't be ridiculous. This exact concept was already exploited in the classic DOS game Oxyd and its open source remake Enigma. For a game this simple, there sure is a lot of lag when moving around and especially when moving blocks. The sounds effect when pushing blocks lags even more. Level design isn't too bad, which is the only positive thing I can write about this game.

ThetaG responds:

Thank you for your comments - and I will look at these games (I hadn't seen the concept before myself). Sorry about the lag - unfortunately, I think it is caused by the engine itself, so there is not much I can do about it.

the game is a boring, try to put a music

ThetaG responds:

I might - though sometimes I feel like puzzle games shouldn't have music, in order to allow the user to play his/her own music. If I add something, it would probably have a very long loop, since one of my pet peeves is a puzzle game with music that repeats too often.
