As much as I love a pirate game, 2.5 stars is as much as I'm willing to give this. Just a combination of all the little negatives like the map flying to the NE when I go into inventory, the cannonballs being called "bullets" along with the lack of refined grammar in general, as well as the interface making it appear that I can fire again only for me to get in range press the fire button, and get damaged because the cooldown wasn't actually over. Also, every targeted ship has the name "Jack", which doesn't seem intentional with their having different names on the sea map. Another thing, Login? Register? Login to what? It seems kind of shady that this game has no website name attached to it anywhere but it has a login offer. How can I be sure that if I register and provide an email I won't just be receiving porn and spam in my inbox all day? Overall I feel this game needs refining, as some things (such as grammar and interface) just seem kind of half-done, and you need to let people know what they would be registering for/ what the benefits of registering would be if you're going to have that as an option.

It was a good concept, and I enjoyed it at first, but it quickly grew stale. Between the constant spelling and grammar errors and the fact that my ship is never really threatened, I never felt immersed in the game. After only a third of the game, I had the most powerful ship, and had never dropped below 90% of my max health. Some suggestions for improvement:

1. Grammar check. If English isn't your first language, hire someone to do it for you.

2. Balance. I want to feel like I'm at least in minor danger.

3. Variety. Every new ship I unlock is stronger than the last in every stat. Adding some strategy would really help.

4. Pacing. I don't want the strongest ship a third of the way through the game. I want it shortly before the last boss.

It says this is unsuitable for touchscreen devices, yet I am in a Macbook pro, any ideas?
