SIDENOTE: This game was made as an homage to the classic NES game Excitebike! We tried to make it as retro as possible without taking away from a great user experience! If you look closely you'll find references to classic NES titles like Megaman and The Legend of Zelda!

This is a really well made game and I thoroughly enjoyed my play through!

A nice balance of precision, speed and timing. My only fault would be the odd glitch when caught between planks and the slow response of the steering.

but other than this, fantastic game!

WingDemon responds:

Thanks man! yeah we have some glitches in there, it was only 2 weeks and we worked down to the wire. I think we finished at 11:32 the day of the deadline, by the time everything was ready to go and we published it there was like 2 minutes left until midnight. But i agree some more polish is needed, future updates!

I like the general idea and the graphics. The soundtrack's okay as well, but the gameplay's pretty weird. I win, although I fail a lot and don't really know what I'm doing, but I lose when everything looks promising. To be honest, I have no idea how this game really works....

WingDemon responds:

To answer your questions there's a wonderful help page on the main menu. If that doesn't help i'll give it a shot. There are 3 criteria's for winning, Speed, power and Magic. Speed is relative to the time it takes you to beat the stage, its the red bar on your HUD. Magic and Power are the other two meters, the meters display both yours and your opponents mag/pow, you just have to get a higher mag/pow then him. Beat your opponent in any 2 of the 3 criteria s and you win. Thanks for playing!

gives that old fashioned arcade mood into it, i liked it :D

WingDemon responds:

We were definitely going for a NES vibe, as a kind of homage to Excitebike. Glad you liked it man!

awesome game!

WingDemon responds:

Thanks man!

WingDemon responds:
