This game was made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 26, a game development competition. The theme was "minimalism", which I stuck to like water on a duck.

You are an unnamed bug alien capable of producing more bug aliens on a whim. Your metabolism is fuelled by a strange substance colloquially referred to as "nectar", which seeps from the vents in the floor of this facility you find yourself in at random intervals.

Given the suitability of this place to survive in, your only goal is to drive out the current occupants with force and ensure they don't return by destroying their teleporters.

They have theoretically infinite numbers, but so do you, and you can reinforce faster than they can. Good luck!

Really enjoyed the game! But it just needs to be more fleshed out! This has high potential and I would like to see this be developed further.
For example, more enemy classes and more friendly classes.
The ability to build my own spawners as a hive that upped my pop cap would be nice!
Other than that, I would love to play this more if it got updated!

Really good game.
The workers aren't necessary, you can gather resources if you stand on the red globs.
Tip: only create soldiers

Excellent concept, but as said below me, the instructions were kinda vague. And it seems that when my workers were attacked, it drained my resources, so in a pinch, I can't get any soldiers because all my workers are on one thing, but also under attack, leaving me with no points to make anything more. And maybe add a ranged unit to match your oppositions'?

Challenging, but quite fun!

The game certainly has potential, but there instructions weren't too good, for example, I didn't even know what the enemy spawners looked like, or even what the enemies themselves looked like (although that one isn't too big of a deal), nor did I know what the red globs did until much later in the game (they give you resources to build soldiers with, by the way, but only if you have workers to mine them with). And lastly, more than two classes available to you to spawn would be much appreciated.
