Failure is inevitable, so why delay? Hit that Give Up button and be done with all this. No need to try to finish the game. I wouldn't be impressed either way. But if you want to humor yourself you can at least try a few floors on for size.

hehe, funny ^^

how about making the "Give Up" in the title screen a "Give-Up"-button, too? So we can give up instantly xD you could give a 1 point medal for clicking it for fun haha

This game would have gotten a full 4 stars if it wasn't for some SEVERE lag that really hindered the gameplay. Namely when there's a bunch of lasers and as if to punish the player, when the player dies, all the little limbs flying around cause the system to slow down EVEN MORE, and anyone who's played the game knows that after a certain point you can't just sit there and wait for the lag to die down, you HAVE to go, there's no reset allowed. This would be totally awesome if it wasn't for the crippling lag caused by Flash being bogged down in the floors above 20.

Just to expand on that, because the system was lagging so hard on some floors the game couldn't register my double jump key press when I needed it to double jump, and for a game that has such a precise and well-calculated level design, the player needs to be able to execute that double jump at the EXACT moment when they need to. It's a great jump, and the balance between the jumping power and the system's gravity really feels good, I applaud that, but what good is a great jump if a level is going to be so busy that Flash won't register every key press? Sometimes I couldn't double jump because of the lag, and when that happened it was mere luck that it would finally register a double jump. Players shouldn't have to die just because the game designer didn't take into account the limited capacity of their delivery system. This could have been solved with playtesting.

If it wasn't for the lag, I still would have only given it 4 stars because the floors are visually and aesthetically repetitive. The level layout wasn't repetitive, quite creative actually and super fun (when all my keystrokes were being registered) but the aesthetics of the room got pretty boring to look at after going at it for so long.

Would have gotten 5 stars from me if it wasn't for the lag and the constant reuse of the same room size and background for every floor layout. Sorry man but there are fewer things that frustrate me when something doesn't work for reasons beyond my control.
