First: Special Thanks goes to Techlesswayz for helping me search for some of the backgrounds.

If you don't like sprite movies then this is not for you.

For those who has slow computers you may get some lagging due to adds being played on the screen, try to view it with less adds showing or try to lower quality. There is also a youtube version of the episodes so just look up Ryu vs Akuma what ever round your looking for.

I have a slow computer as well and it plays fine for me.

Running time about 9 minutes.
If you haven't seen the first three episodes yet! Then close this video now and watch them first to see whats going on.

OK! It is here ladies and gents, Round 4 is here!
Ryu and Akuma Epic battle is still on!
Ryu has defeated Akuma in our previous fight.
But wait! Akuma has taken the Dark Hadou to the next level.

Is this the true demon form of Akuma?
Will Ryu be able to handle this new challenger?
And what of Ken, Chun-Li and Sakura?!
Will they reach Ryu in time?

Personal note:
Thank you all for viewing this video. I did not attend these shorts to go this long. Originally It was going to be just two short videos. I was so inspired by the Street Fighter character Oni that I wanted to tell a short story on how Akuma became Oni.
When working on part one I was searching really hard for a good Oni sprite to work with and haven't found one.
So I continue working on the project and at first it was just going to be Ryu and Akuma. Until one day I came across a Oni sprite that works perfect for what I need.

So by listening to the ending quotes from the sound board I was able to direct a short story between Ryu and Akuma. I did not think I would be so inspired to carry this project this far.
This is the longest sprite movie by far and I'm happy with it. I hope you guys enjoy the ride.

BECAUSE!!!

This will be the last episode for now. I need a break from flash for a while and my computer hates me for working it over time.

Enjoy! :)

A bit overdone on the effects at times, and for me personally the change of sprites for Gouki from SFIII to CvS was a bit of a downer. Using the "Oni" form is mixed for me as well, as "Shin" Gouki is basically Gouki without reserving any fighting capability.. the "Oni" form even in the games always seemed overdone and poorly thought-out. I'm not a fan of the voices, a more appropriate course would to take clips from maybe the Street Fighter Zero ova or the SF2 film, non-dubbed of course. I'm just a stickler for character voices, the Japanese cast fit better in almost any case.

Despite a few points, the animation was well done and you can tell of all the hard work you must have put into this, so very much obliged to see this/this series!

Thanks for the comment. It's funny that you say the effects are over done. Some been telling me there aren't enough. Far as Oni! You have no idea how hard it was to find him. I like this version of him more than the original, it shows more of an early stage of Oni.

i have a hard time providing constructive criticism on sprite videos that showcase shoto fighters.
here it goes!
i found the voices to be both engaging and distracting, and i'll try to elaborate.
some voice clips seemed to fit well, while others didn't make sense.
it appeared as though you were restricted with the clips, at least with the characters outside of Ryu and Akuma. those two fit well and were not distracting.
however, i realized that you did the best you could with the limited voice resources you had.
this video is your best one by far both in animation quality and voice/ sound mixing.
i won't deduct points for you using characters that i am not really a fan of, however
if i could give you a good piece of advice, try to branch away from shoto fighters.
you have managed to do some creative things, but the well is running dry on these sprites.
it is hard to be innovative with characters that have been used by so many people before, and hell, proxicide might have just put shotos and mk ninjas on life support.
i am trying not to rant, but i am hoping to see more from you in the future with characters that could better showcase your talents.
good luck, man!

Thanks for the comment Heartless. I can understand where you coming from about using other characters. But like you said with limited voice resources I can do but so much. And plus I think the other characters work for Street Fighter mini short. :)

I think out of all 4 so far, this really is your best work, I guess my opinion was, there was lack of hitsparks when either Ryu, Oni, or Sakura get hits, there's no hitspark, but that's just my opinion, but regardless, you showed improvements on this.

MysticSkillz responds:

That's just my style. Unlike all the others videos out there I rather use hit sparks when need be. Thats just my style. I don't want over do it with hit sparks, it's about the movie not special effects lol. Anyway glad you enjoyed it.
